GZA 50 Cent Beef

We've all heard the diss track (paper plates) and seen the video of GZA calling out 50 cent and soulja boy, tellin the fans to stop listening to that bullshit and get back to the real hiphop. And honeslty i say, its about time that a rap legend like the GZA tells it straight. Because this bubblegum, monetized, autotune, album selling, rap era we seem to be stuck in needs to be put to rest.

But the main reason i wanted to write this piece, is the fact, that I'm fuckin pissed that someone like 50 cent would even dream of talking shit about the Genius. First of all please name one beef 50 won all by himself (name one)... the nigga played out. How could this man with no lyrical ability come out and talk shit about a whole clan of living legends. When as sick as it is, there would be no 50 cent if it wasn't for what the WU did to hip hop (not only on the east coast) but around the globe.

It makes me sad how the game went from being able to flow on the mic to how much money and album sales you got. The main reason being that the lyrics these days are fucking terrible

"I never fall back,
I'd rather go forward
and when I come through,
ya betta duck like howard" - lil wayne Outstanding.

It went from raw and powerful lyrics to just throwing any word in a line just to fill up a bar. And it's even more sad because kids listen to these lyrics and will defend the artists (if you can call them that) like lil wayne and 50 cent to the absolute death. Honestly if you are going to listen to rap at least listen to something that actually makes sense. Or at least to someone with a little or some skill.

I hate it when people think 50 cent is an actual MC. Because we all know 50 cent isn't a rapper. He is a business man who invested into buying a microphone. He doesnt know how to rap, he only knows how to sell a record.

"Get Rich or Die Tryin,
we thought you was hot,
Now the same nigga wanna take us to the Candy Shop,
C'mon man, what happened to the thug?,
Now you could find in the club,
him and Lloyd Banks hugging." -The Game 300 Bars and Runnin'

... FUCK YOU 50 GO HIDE BEHIND YOUR MONEY("I,I,I GET MONEY, MONEY I GOT">ruined a classic rap song btw, butchered it actually). Straight up, you got murked by fat joe, you afraid to even go near the bronx now. RZA went to 50's own hood to see him perform "how to rob" and 50 dissapeared out the back door..... I mean Game fuckin murdered you on 300 bars. And now you think you have the lyrical ability to fuck with THE MUTHAFUCKIN GZA. YOU AINT EVEN GONNA RESPOND TO HIS DISS TRACK, YOU FUCKIN PUSSY BECAUSE YOU KNOW....You tried that with jadakiss and you got CHECKMATED, so how in the hell do you think you can fuck with GZA who was one of the Fathers of Lyrical Chess?

It's your turn, make your move. Whats your follow up to Curtis gonna be? And to actual fans of rap, your album sales wouldnt even matter, but you were the one who made it this way, you the dude who likes to run and hide behind the numbers.

Nas stated HipHop is dead, but how can HipHop be dead if Wu-Tang is Forever?

Just A little Sample of why he is called the Genius

"I don't give a god damn, on the shows you did,
How many rhymes you got,
or who knows you kid?
Cuz I don't know ya, therefore show me what you know,
I come sharp as a blade, and I cut you slow"- GZA Clan in Da Front

Wutang Clan's Members

didnt really have time to write it that well but this is my 5 minute lesson.

This is a topic that can be argued over, easily for at least the next decade: Who is Wu Tang's Best. Who is the best lyrically, who has the best delivery, to who can spit the hardest rhymes that will blow your mind. This is my Top Nine of the best MC in the group.

9. U-God- baby U went hard on tracks like Da mystery of chessboxin' and itz yours but overall, because of his lack of involvement with the group(due to beef with other clan members) we don't really get to see his full potential. other than that i haven't really checked into his solo shit but that's because i really don't want to. (personally i would have rather put Killah Preist here)

8. Ghostface Killah- It pains me to put him here because after all he 1/3 of the genius behind onlybuilt for Cuban Linx (third part being the dope instrumentals) Ghost is sick don't get me wrong he a dope MC to ever spit on the mic but in terms of wutang i just like so much of the clan better.

7. Raekwon the Chef- Ghost and Rae are interchangeable in books, they both dope MC's and when they get on the track together its pure hip-hop crack. Raekwon's perspective of the streets and his criminology views on life is what made him a smooth rapper, and earned him possible the best rap album of all time. cant Wait for the sequel Only Built For Cuban Linx 2

6. Method Man- The most Flamboyant and probably the most marketable clan member. Meth is the the wittiest when it comes to lyrics and his delivery on the tracks is bar non. the Tracks Method Man and protect your neck off 36 chambers so Filthy.

5. Masta Killa- Only had one verse on 36 chambers (da mystery of chessboxin') but that was the verse that earned him the 9th spot in the Clan. Masta Killa is not really known to be out in the front of the clan but if you listen to the verses he puts down you know he definitely deserves this spot. Besides how can he not be in the top 5 if he was mentored by the Genius himself.

4. Ol' Dirty Bastard- ODB what can i say. his style is unmatched. His delivery is raw. Something about ol' dirty is so sick that it just makes me want to put him at number 4. his solo album Return to the 36 chambers is so raw it feels like your eardrums had just ejaculated. I know his lyrics arent always the best but the way he delivers them on a track is just so odb like. No one else in the game is able to do what dirt mcgirt could do. Besides he was fucked up most of the time which is what made him ill

3. RZA- My favourite of the Clan mainly becuase i love a good beat and RZA is a producing genius. If you ask me who is the Best producer of all Time I Will say RZA. 36 chambers revolutionized the rap game with rawest beats and lyrics to have ever hit the streets. RZA is a genius when it comes to music.

2. Inpectah Deck- Triumph

1. GZA the Genius- Liquid Swords, Clan in Da Front, "we form together like Voltron, and GZA happen to be the Head" plus he beefin with 50 so that will always get you points in my book.

I made this in 5 minutes, i will go more in depth later on each clan member (they all sick), really i only made this so that i could put it up on our website.
